We specialize in "right sized" homes, built to the highest standards in craftsmanship and sustainability.
|
Our approach is to build efficiently sized, well constructed contemporary homes that utilize good design practices, sensitivity to the existing surroundings, and cost-effective green and sustainable practices.
Our feeling is that over time the building practices we employ will become the norm -- as rising energy prices and resource scarcity will be come the rule, not the exception.
I like to say "the trains leaving the station - better get on board, or be left behind...

Environmentally conscious housing: Who decides what's green?
Bill Roth first became a General Contractor 10 years ago. His first project won a Metropolitan Home "honorable mention" award in their "Home of the Year contest". Since that time, he has specialized in building infill projects, having done a territorial 2 home projects on the East Side of Santa Fe, 4 units in the Guadalupe Historical District and recently a home on the west side of Santa Fe for himself which has many of the design and green features of the Arroyo San Antonio project. The guiding principal of CCMC (Clear Creek Management Corp.) is "Bill won't build anything he wouldn't want to live in himself."
Clear Creek Management Corporation specializes in high quality new home construction and remodeling. Instead of looking for high tech solutions, resource effective "off the shelf" approaches are found that produce the desired green/sustainable results. Starting with an energy and material efficient shell, we then look for products that reduce resource use, and yet possess good clean aesthetic value. Starting with a good, solid design, all else falls into place.
I was very excited to have found this great land between the Arroyo San Antonio and the Acequia Madre. My vision for this area was to build based on my design philosphy of "right sized" homes. I'm not a fan of the status quo "santa fe" style, and envisioned a compound of 5 homes, that would take advantage of the southern orientation of the site. They would utilize a more modern, contemporary design language (my personal favorite).
Therefore we developed 5 units, each with their own private spaces, but grouped in such a way that they are clustered on the site, to leave the surrounded areas as open space. I believe that I have created something that fosters a sustainable lifestyle, while being close to the downtown area. |
The perfectly pigmented smooth plastered walls created by Roth come from 20 years experience as a licensed plastering contractor. These beautiful walls in addition to polished concrete floors, southern passive solar natural light and natural xeriscape landscaping create a natural, clean and contemporary ambiance.
From the start, these homes were built to embody the highest building standards in sustainability and craftsmanship. |
